By accessing or using HiveBase ("Service"), operated by HiveBase ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

HiveBase is an AI-powered project management assistant that integrates with workplace tools including but not limited to Slack, Zoom, Google Calendar, Gmail, Asana, ClickUp, Linear, Notion, Figma, and Coda to aggregate context, generate tasks, provide insights, and streamline workflows.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service

4. Integrations and Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party applications. By connecting these services, you authorize us to access and use your data from these platforms as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content, functionality, or privacy practices of third-party services.

  • Zoom: Access to meetings, recordings, transcripts for note generation
  • Slack: Access to messages, channels for task detection and updates
  • Google Workspace: Calendar events, emails for scheduling and context
  • Asana/ClickUp/Linear: Task management synchronization
  • Other: Similar access for context aggregation and AI processing

5. User Content and Data

You retain ownership of your content. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, process, and analyze your data to provide and improve the Service, including AI model training (anonymized and aggregated).

You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and third-party terms.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Using the Service for illegal purposes
  • Interfering with the Service or other users
  • Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code
  • Uploading harmful content or viruses
  • Violating intellectual property rights

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content are owned by HiveBase or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

8. Subscription and Payment

Certain features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through third-party providers. You agree to pay all fees and taxes associated with your use.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we may delete your data as per our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or availability. AI-generated content may contain errors.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiveBase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
